As of 2018, it had more than thirty-four thousand employees and reported annual revenues of over fifteen billion USD.

Established in 1929 by the Lever Brother branch and Margarine Unie line, the multinational is one of the most prominent players in oral health products. It produces edibles like food, ice cream, supplements, personal care items like toothpaste and beauty products, and other equipment like air and water purifiers and pet food. The company caters to a vast market audience in almost 190 countries and owns more than 400 brands. It’s headquartered in London, England, and as of 2022, has more than one hundred and forty-nine thousand employees globally. 

 

  1. Procter & Gamble Co. 

The company was established in 1937 by James Gamble and Willian Procter and is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. With clients in every nation except North Korea, P&G owns several brands and manufactures various goods, from personal hygiene items to home and fabric, family care, snacks, foods, beverages, and cleaning agents. It has a subsidiary- Procter & Gamble Australia Pty. Ltd, and as of 2021, has more than one hundred thousand employees.

Widely known as GSK, the multinational business was formed in 2000 following the merger between SmithKline Beecham and Glaxo Wellcome. Today, it deals with the production of consumer goods, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical goods. Awarded as the sixth-biggest pharma company in 2019 according to Forbes, GSK has manufacturing and delivery plants worldwide. As of 2022, it has over ninety-four thousand employees and reported yearly revenue of more than a hundred billion pounds (£).

Johnson & Johnson is more commonly called J&J and was founded by Robert Wood Johnson I, Edward Mead Johnson, and James Wood Johnson in 1886. Today, it’s headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA, and caters to clients globally. A few of its subsidiaries include Ethicon, Healthcare, Mentor, Tibotec, and McNeil Consumer. The multinational reported a revenue of over ninety billion USD in 2021 and has over one hundred thousand employees today.
